Julie S. Alexander is a 2006 graduate of
the master's program in College Student Development
at Appalachian State University. While at
Appalachian, Julie worked in the Freshman
Seminar Office where she was involved in faculty
development and support for 63 sections of
freshman seminar. In spring of 2005, she helped
plan and implement Appalachian's residential
summer bridge program. She taught two sections
of Freshman Seminar in Fall 2005.
In her work with the Policy Center Julie
has assisted with the implementation of the
Foundations of Excellence® project, a
comprehensive, guided self-study and improvement
process, under the direct supervision of the
Policy Center staff. She was responsible for
a number of special Policy Center projects
including a detailed analysis of response
patterns on the Foundations of Excellence
faculty/staff and student surveys. Julie also
holds a B.S. in Psychology from Appalachian
State University.
