Laura A. Legg is a part-time student in the master's program for College Student Personnel at Western Carolina University. Laura is a non-traditional graduate student who has held administrative positions at the college and secondary school level during her eleven-year educational career. Laura served as the Associate Director of Admission at Dickinson College, where she also earned a B.A in International Studies.

As the current Director of the College Office at Asheville School (Asheville, NC ), Laura advises students about the college exploration process. Additionally, she has assisted prospective families with the secondary school admission process. 

Drawing upon her experiences with college-bound students and families, Laura's work at the Policy Center involved her in performing research and information gathering on various aspects of the college transition process that are relevant to the Policy Center's mission of improving the beginning college experience.
