Mark A. Lange, Psy.D. is professor of psychology at Holyoke Community College. In addition to teaching psychology courses in first-year learning communities, he also facilitates the college's year-long orientation for first-year teaching faculty. He has served as the chair of the psychology department, the faculty liaison for Foundations of Excellence, and now chairs the committee on the first year experience. Mark has taught at the community college, four-year colleges and Antioch New England Graduate School. In 2006 he served on the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education Task Force for Graduation and Retention.
In addition to his teaching, Mark is a clinical and consulting psychologist with a private practice in Northampton, MA. His clinical emphasis is group psychotherapy. He has also consulted with a variety of businesses and organizations, to help people work together more effectively.
Mark first began his psychology studies at the University of Sioux Falls and later completed a M.S. in counselor education. His masters and doctorate in clinical psychology were completed at Rosemead School of Psychology.
