Amy Baldwin

Amy Baldwin serves as the professional development coordinator and an instructor of composition, literature, and college success at Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the co-liaison for Pulaski Tech's Foundations of Excellence self-study and is now working as the co-director of the Achieving the Dream initiative. In addition to her current work at the college, she has served as the self-study editor during the 2002 accreditation visit; she co-founded both the Distance Education Committee and the Academic Integrity Committee; she served as the coordinator of distance education from 2003-2006; she has served on numerous committees and task forces during her 9 years as full-time instructor.

She has also authored The Community College Experience 2nd edition (Pearson/Prentice Hall, 2009) and the forthcoming 2nd expanded edition, The Community College Experience PLUS (Pearson/Prentice Hall, 2010). She has written articles and given dozens of presentations at conferences, workshops, and in-service sessions across the country on topics such as student success, online learning, and academic integrity. She lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with her family.
